We are entering a new period in which machines are not only a tool with which to wield power. Technology is now intricately interconnected with humankind, an organic element coiled around our bodies and fused with our lives. Capitaine futur explores this supernature that forms landscapes unlike any seen before, writes alternative storylines for existence and belonging, and reorders the chain of beings. It’s time for us to cross this shifting supernatural landscape modified by humankind, which is spun and joined together by the Web. It’s a place where a host of interdependent beings coexist, connected by emotional relationships, feelings, circulating streams of information and powerful calculations, as well as human and non-human thoughts.
